Tips on being a great photographer

Knowing your camera is the best tip I can give. Its tempting to use your camera in automatic mode, which is fine if your just learning how to use it, but once you learn how to use manual mode your photography game will improve dramatically! Knowing what the stutter speed is and the aperture will step up your game. Here is a video that I found that will explain shutter speed, iso and aperture:
Knowing how to edit photos is part of being a great photographer as well. Programs like photoshop and Luminar are great for this . Photoshop can be difficult to use, however Luminar is simple to use and easy . In just a few clicks you can make your photos pop! For example, i have two photos here, one i edited with Luminar and the other is before i edited.
The first photo looks black and white compared to the edited one . Just know becoming a great photographer won't happen over night, it will take time and practice to know your camera and learn how to edit.
